Food, fuel and energy bills are out of control John, and our government is only sticking plasters on the problem. They’re refusing to do something that will keep prices down for good. 

Two major reasons behind soaring prices are climateflation and fossilflation. Fossilflation is where food and energy prices go up because our whole system depends on dangerous fossil fuels like oil and gas. Climateflation means prices go up because things like droughts cause crop shortages and these lead to price hikes. [1]

Our new video exposes how fossil fuels are making life miserable for all of us and why we need to reroute our whole system towards renewables to protect people and our planet - not profit.

At the start of this month, the government scrapped the energy support scheme that was helping millions across the country deal with skyrocketing energy costs. Now, the average bill is set to go up by £67 a month - but we can’t afford any more price hikes. [2] 

That’s why we’re exposing the truth behind fossilflation and climateflation, to show that cheaper, greener alternatives like solar and wind are well within our reach - but we need to come together to apply pressure on the government to cut our ties with fossil fuels once and for all.

No one should go hungry or freeze in their homes. That’s why we’re calling on Chancellor Jeremy Hunt and Governor Andrew Bailey to stop fossilflation and climateflation so we can bring down prices for good. Together, let’s expose the truth behind the cost of living scandal and show that a fairer, greener future is possible.
