Nottingham Castle
Tickets are now on sale for the screenings of the Coronation and Coronation Concert on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 May at Nottingham Castle. Re-opening for the first time since November, the grounds of the castle will host a giant screen to broadcast the Coronation celebrations.
On Saturday, the Coronation will be screened live from Westminster Abbey in London. On Sunday evening, the Coronation Concert will be shown live from Windsor Castle. You will be able to bring picnic food and blankets for these picnic-style screening events to celebrate the Coronation. Food and drink will also be available to buy on site.
Tickets are ÂŁ1 (inclusive of VAT and booking fee).

Nottingham Castle
Tickets are now on sale for the screening of the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final in the castle grounds.
Nottingham is an official BBC broadcast partner, with the event being streamed live from Liverpool Arena on a giant 28sqm screen with a concert-quality sound system. Eurovision fans will be able to watch the Grand Final in the beautiful surroundings of the castle grounds. For this concert-style screening, picnics cannot be brought on site, but there will be options to purchase food and drink in the grounds.
This year, the UK is hosting the Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine. For this screening we are holding a number of tickets for Ukrainian guests, hosts and residents in Nottingham, and will be in touch with them in the coming days on how to get access.

Everyone is invited to join the celebrations for the Sikh festival of Vaisakhi, with the colourful Nagar Kirtan procession through the streets of Nottingham.
In line with the Sikh principles, everyone is welcome and langar (free food) will be available to all.
The procession starts at 9.30am from Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Gurdwara on Church Street and will end at Gurdwara Baba Budha Ji on Haydn Road.

Congratulations to the Nottingham Panthers who have made it through to the Viaplay Playoff Finals this weekend!
They join the Belfast Giants, Sheffield Steelers and Cardiff Devils as part of the fantastic final four showdown, to determine who ends this season as Playoff Champions.
The Semi-Finals take place on Saturday, with 3rd vs 4th place and the Playoff Final on Sunday.

Head to the National Ice Centre on Friday evenings as the DJ plays all the latest hits and the disco lights fill the rink. It’s the perfect place to party and show off your ice dancing!
They will also be hosting family disco sessions on Saturday afternoons which are suitable for younger children. Don’t forget that children aged 5 and under skate for free!

After a three-year absence, the Nottingham Motor Show is back for 2023.
The show will include hundreds of classic and vintage vehicles including cars, motorcycles and caravans as well as the very latest models on the road today.
Having been established over many years, the event is the biggest and most prestigious show of its kind in the East Midlands.
Admission is free but event parking charges apply.

Colwick Country Park
Detonate brings Nottingham together for a massive party, set amongst the woodland, lakes and clearings of Colwick Country Park, featuring more than 60 live artists and DJs.
The full line-up has now been revealed, joining artists such as Chase & Status, Sammy Virji, Bou, LF System, Interplanetary Criminal and Shy FX.
There will also be floating stages, woodland hideaways, global street food, cocktails, boat parties, fireworks, VIP Island, live street art and more!
