When I ran to be a Montana State Representative in 2018, I was focused on the issues that matter to Montana families, like access to affordable health care and protecting our environment and public lands. I defeated the Republican and won that race because Montanans are tired of partisanship -- they want leaders who are on their side.
That’s why I am now running for Montana State Senate, and that’s why I am proud to support Cora Neumann’s campaign for U.S. Senate. I know that she is the kind of leader who will make standing with Montana’s families her top priority. Unlike our out-of-touch GOP Senator Steve Daines, she’ll be a champion for our values in Washington.
Montanans need and deserve more leaders who will fight to improve their lives and work together to get things done. I know that when she’s in the U.S. Senate, that’s exactly what we can expect from Cora.
She won’t go to D.C. to play partisan political games with our children’s future like Steve Daines. She won’t vote to take healthcare coverage away from 10% of our population like Steve Daines. In fact, she’s not very much like Steve Daines at all.
Cora is a bright light on the Montana political landscape. She is an articulate advocate of core Montanan values -- access to affordable healthcare, economic vitality and protection of our world-class environment, among others. And, as an experienced public servant, her commitment is to show up, to listen, and to work tirelessly across the Treasure State. That’s the kind of leadership we need, and that’s why I’m supporting Cora Neumann for U.S. Senate.
