I've got some numbers for you, John:

> There are 34 Senate seats up for election in 2024.
> Democrats are defending 23 of those seats, while Republicans are defending just 11.
> Three of the Democratic senators up for reelection this cycle represent states that Trump won in 2020.

The moral of the story here? While Democrats hold the Senate majority 51-49, we've got a LOT of defending to do: control of the chamber is very much in play this cycle. In fact, Larry Sabato's Crystal Ball has already rated the battle for the Senate majority a toss-up.

So how do we tip the scales in our favor? We start investing NOW in candidates like Sen. Tammy Baldwin (WI), Sen. Jacky Rosen (NV), and Rep. Elissa Slotkin (MI) -- all of whom are fighting hard to hold Democratic Senate seats this cycle. Early support gives these women the very best chance at success in 2024.
