Stocking the pantry has become significantly more expensive ([link removed]) over the past two years. The attempts by domestic steel manufacturers, such as Ohio manufacturer Cleveland-Cliffs ([link removed]) , to impose costly steel tariffs will only worsen this already difficult situation.
Americans are already paying almost 15% more to purchase canned fruit and vegetables than last year. By petitioning the Biden administration to slap tariffs on foreign tinplate steel, these companies will push the prices of canned goods even higher.

State Public Option Reforms Reveal Folly of Gov't Healthcare

Over the last few years, several states have tried their hand at creating a “public option” health insurance plan. Their experiences offer a cautionary tale to those pushing for similar reforms at the federal level — as well as to states considering public options of their own.
In its purest form, the public option is a government-run health plan that competes alongside private alternatives in the marketplace. But some states are turning to private insurers to run publicly chartered plans.

Bicycle ridership declining even in bike-friendly Portland
