I know our team has been emailing you quite a bit over the past week, so I wanted to take a moment to explain why.

Early fundraising is crucial to a campaign like ours.

We don’t have a rolodex of mega-donors to cut checks for us.
We don’t take a dime from dark money super pacs.
And I don’t have the time to beg for campaign checks over the phone.

What I do have though, is grassroots superstars like you, and I need your help today. Look, National Republicans are foaming at the mouth to flip this seat and widen their House Majority. Can I count on you to chip in $5 right now to fight back? »

It cannot be overstated just how far Kevin McCarthy and his extreme caucus will go if they expand their fragile Majority. With their current majority, they’ve already passed extreme abortion bans, reversed and delayed key programs, and have their sights set on other fundamental freedoms.

And I know that the 2024 Election seems impossibly far in the future. But National Republicans are doing everything they can (and spending nearly everything they have!) to flip each and every House district across the country.
