Now that we’ve crossed Wisconsin off our to-do list, I want to talk to you about the other big must-win races on the calendar.

Elect Democratic Governors in Red ( but still winnable ) States

We have a few huge opportunities to elect Democratic governors in Kentucky, Louisiana, and Mississippi this year — but it won’t be easy.

Kentucky — Democratic Governor Andy Beshear is a pro-choice champion, and needs our help winning re-election in the Bluegrass State.

Louisiana — Democratic Governor John Bel Edwards is term-limited and can’t run for re-election, and it’s going to take all of us to defeat the field of GOP extremists running to replace him.

Mississippi — Incumbent Republican Governor Tate Reeves has been a nightmare for Mississippi, and is now more vulnerable than ever.

Electing Democratic governors in red states serves as a check on the otherwise unmitigated power of GOP-controlled state legislatures. Will you chip in $25 to help us elect Democrats in Kentucky, Louisiana, and Mississippi?

Expand Democratic Majorities in State Legislatures

Democrats currently hold majorities in the Virginia and New Jersey state legislatures, but we need to expand those majorities by electing more Democrats and defending blue seats.

Virginia — Far-right extremist Glenn Youngkin has spent his time as governor dictating what teachers can teach in schools and making trans kids targets for bullying and discrimination. We need a veto-proof majority to reign in his abusive power.

New Jersey — Democrats control both chambers of the legislature, but Republicans are trying to break the Democratic trifecta and bring New Jersey back into play.

We have huge opportunities to elect Democratic governors and expand Democratic majorities in state legislatures in 2023, but we need to get to work right away. Will you chip in $25 right now to help Democrats win big?
