What happened at Stanford Law School was shocking: 

Student protestors shouted down Fifth Circuit appellate judge Stuart Kyle Duncan as he tried to speak on campus. When Duncan asked for an administrator to restore order, Tirien Steinbach, the school’s diversity dean, arrived and delivered a "bizarre therapy session from hell."

The diversity dean not only held a “struggle session” against Judge Duncan, but she was also instrumental in helping organize the protest against a conservative speaker.

These D.E.I. officers wield great power and use it to promote Marxist policies.

And the D.E.I. movement is growing — nearly 80% of Arizona’s faculty job postings require applicants to pledge fealty at the altar of “wokeness.”

Goldwater is working to defeat D.E.I. in education. We are promoting legislative models to ensure that:

Public educational institutions will be explicitly prohibited from using political tests to screen out applicants in any admissions, hiring, or promotion-related decisions or from granting preferential consideration to applicants for their support of partisan, political, or ideological beliefs.

Prohibited actions will include forcing an applicant, teacher, employee, or pupil to discuss their allegiance to any political ideology or movement — including any ideology that promotes differential treatment based on race or ethnicity.

In summary, the legislation we’re promoting will END the use of D.E.I. in schools.
