Folks,

First, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, overturning nearly 50 years of precedent and making prescription abortion medication more important than ever.

Then, last Friday, a Texas judge ruled that mifepristone — an FDA-approved medication used by millions of women in need of abortion care for over 20 years — should be banned. This was a decision with no basis in scientific or medical evidence.

Now, an Appeals Court has allowed the drug to be prescribed, but blocked it from being mailed to women who need it.

More than fifty percent of women seeking an abortion choose a medication abortion. And it is critical for people everywhere, especially in states with draconian abortion bans or states like Colorado, where many rural communities have more limited access to in-person care.

That's why we must protect every woman's right to reproductive health care.

Add your name today if you agree that women nationwide should have full access to medication abortion. No one should be denied care because of their zip code.

A woman's health care decisions should be between herself and her doctor, not the government. Colorado is a safe haven for women seeking reproductive care. That's why I worked with my colleagues to introduce the EACH Act, which would guarantee abortion coverage without restrictions for those who rely on Medicaid and other federal health plans.
