John,
Last quarter was a whirlwind for our movement. And thanks to your support, we were able to reach our fundraising goal and show our opposition the true strength of our grassroots momentum.
Now we're in the thick of Q2, and with so much on the horizon for our movement, and so much to fight for in our communities — we can't afford to slow down. That's why we're working to raise $5,000 from emails just like this one before midnight on Saturday to keep our campaign on track.
Jamaal is counting on all of us to keep up the momentum in our fight for a bolder, more compassionate democracy rooted in love. Can we count on you to chip in $3, $5, $10, or whatever you're able to give to our campaign today? Reaching this goal is critical for our campaign's ability to plan for our future efforts.
Jamaal is intent on holding bad actors accountable for their wrongdoings, and fighting for our progressive values in Congress. But what he said recently still holds true: Jamaal is just a regular person trying to fight for the rights of the people in our district.
That's what makes our movement so special, John. Each and every one of us are regular people. Teachers, nurses, service providers, and more have chipped in $5, $10, even $50 at a time to boost our movement. These small dollar donations are what has kept us afloat for this long, and these donations are going to help us flourish in the future.
We're now just two days away from our mid-month marker. And after Saturday, we'll be taking a close look at our finances to ensure that we're on track to keep pace with our campaign plans. This is where you come in, John.
This movement was created by the people, for the people — not for the corporations and bad actors who fight against our values. Help us continue growing this movement rooted in compassion and love for one another by making a contribution of $3 or more so that we can reach our mid-month fundraising goal.
Thank you for believing in this movement, John. We're honored to have you in this fight with us.
In solidarity,
Team Bowman
