John,

Looking at the results from our recent voter preparedness survey email, we can see there’s still a lot of work to get done by the Commonwealth’s May 16 Municipal/Local/Judicial Primary.

A truly unfortunate amount of voters turn out just once every four years for Presidential Elections, and our survey results reflected that unfortunate trend.

This year, we need to do better because the upcoming Municipal/Local/Judicial Elections will be vital to protecting our rights and democracy – all the way from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court down to county election board members, the officials we elect will hold crucial roles.

“Off-year” elections with crucial elections like these are one of the most important times for us to register voters, raise awareness, and get out the vote. Will you donate $10 right away to help us carry out this vital work and defend our democracy?

In solidarity,

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in underrepresented immigrant communities and communities of color. We register communities to vote, provide civic education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize Pennsylvanians to vote in every election.
