Media attention comes and goes, but Indivisibles will still be here fighting for the issues that matter most to their communities Indivisibles,
We’ll be straight with you: We’re about halfway through April, and we’re falling seriously behind on our fundraising target for the month. Grassroots contributions from emails like this are a crucial source of funding for our work, but that also means when donations lag it leaves a big question mark hovering over our plans for the upcoming year.
We know small-dollar giving is heavily event-driven. We see spikes of funding around key races or legislative pushes. The only problem is our work doesn’t follow this pattern. We have to plan our strategies long in advance, and our organizing continues on throughout the year.
That’s why we’re reaching out today. We want to talk to you about some of the amazing long-term work Indivisibles are doing, and we’re also going to ask you to pitch in to support that work. If you’re ready, you can click here to make a contribution and help close the gap on our fundraising target for this month.

Here’s some of the work your contribution will help fund:
☎️ Just last night, we had our National Activist Call to share our strategy for preventing the MAGA default over the debt ceiling. This issue isn’t page one news yet, but we’re doing the early work NOW to ensure Dems stand strong in the face of Republican hostage taking and continue to protect Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid, and other vital programs. Our groups are also protesting, attending town halls, and birddogging vulnerable Republicans to drive a wedge in the GOP that could prevent a default crisis.
🏥 The recent rulings on medication abortion are just the latest examples of MAGA-fueled Republicans’ continued assault on abortion rights. Indivisibles are putting our birddogging guides into action at townhalls across the country to get their MoC’s unpopular positions on abortion out there on the record so their constituents can hold them accountable. Our groups are also pressuring Senate Dems to seat as many federal judges as they can to rebalance the judiciary. And when we restore our trifecta, our groups will be fighting for the codifying of Roe on day one.
📣 Next week we’re also hosting a strategy call for Indivisibles in Tennessee. Yes, Reps. Jones and Pearson are back in their seats after fascistic expulsions, but there’s a LOT more work to be done in Tennessee to save democracy and advance gun safety. Long after the media moves on from the events of the past weeks, Indivisible groups will be hard at work organizing their communities -- and we will continue to provide them with resources they need to win.
While media attention comes and goes and battles fall from the headlines, Indivisibles are consistently organizing around the issues that matter most to their communities. The wins we’ve gotten over the past few years are thanks to the hard work of Indivisibles across the country who’ve been donating, making calls, showing up to events, and more. If you’re able to, please consider making a contribution to support this movement. With your help, we can keep driving progressive wins, defend our rights and freedoms, and build a democracy that serves all of us.
In solidarity, Indivisible Team
