Hi John,

Last month, I stood up in Congress and said no to H.R. 1, the Polluters Over People Act, which would put corporate greed and Wall Street profits over protecting American families from the climate crisis and lowering home energy costs.

This blatant disregard for the wellbeing of our children, working families, and communities is exactly why I, and my Democratic colleagues, carry on the fight. John, we need your help. So, as we inch closer to our April mid-month fundraising deadline, will you chip in to fight for our environment and our communities? My home state of Washington has been a trailblazer in clean, renewable energy sources. Republicans should be following our lead to accelerate America’s transition towards a green energy economy – just like what Democrats did in the Inflation Reduction Act.

But instead, they are pushing the agenda of the fossil fuel industry that will not only accelerate the climate crisis, but also blow a $2.4 billion hole in our deficit.

Our working families cannot afford bills like the Polluters Over People Act, which will raise costs while rolling back historic environmental protections. This is why every single fundraising deadline we have matters.

We need to win back control of the House to continue on the progress we’ve made for our children and families – that starts with your support. Can I count on you? >>>
