Republicans are trying everything they can think of to restrict abortion access in their states.
“Democratic Attorneys General will be on the front lines of the fight to protect abortion access in every corner of our country.” — Dem AGs Kathy Jennings of Delaware and Aaron Ford of Nevada.
Democratic AGs don’t just talk the talk on abortion access — they walk the walk.
In the last two weeks, they’ve fought back against dangerous attempts to take away abortion medication from millions of Americans — and won a huge ruling that protected abortion medication access in nearly twenty states nationwide.
They’re in court fighting their own states' centuries-old abortion bans. And they’re going on national TV to educate Americans in every corner of the country about what’s at stake in this fight.
We think Massachusetts Dem AG Andrea Campbell perfectly summed up the determination of Dem AGs to continue the fight to protect reproductive rights on MSNBC this week: “I want people to stay in a place of hope and not fear… I will do everything in my power using the full authority of the office, to protect a woman’s right, not only to choose, but a woman’s right to the safe and effective medicated abortion, in the face of these anti-science, anti-democratic, right-wing attacks.”
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and we can't stop now – will you chip in today?
