Friends,

Recently I had the privilege to speak to students in the district making an impact through local leadership, and visit the Tiny Homes Program – a program that builds tiny homes for homeless veterans. These students are making a difference in our community, and it’s an honor to be their representative in Congress.

I also went on CNN to shed light on the backwards politics from the left on gun control and the politically motivated Trump indictment.

Sincerely,

The Trump Indictment is 100% Politically Motivated

If this were anyone but Trump, would this NY District Attorney even take up the case? It’s a simple question that I hope some of the more liberal viewers on CNN will consider. Regardless of your opinion of President Trump’s policies or his character, we should all be able to admit this fact: this decision to indict a former President and current Presidential candidate on a VERY weak case is going to have serious ramifications for the future. It weakens our country’s faith in the justice system. The left likes to talk about “threats to our Democracy.” I would certainly classify politicized justice as a threat to democracy. The fairness of our court system is essential to our nation’s rule of law, and the rule of law is essential to our democracy.

Crenshaw to CNN: Protect Our Kids Like You Protect Yourselves

Image

We have armed security officers protect our airports, our politicians, and even CNN’s offices. Why shouldn’t we have the same protection for our children going to school? Most schools already have armed security guards but we need to make sure they ALL do. You’re never going to be able to change the evil inside a person that drives them to commit mass murder. What you can do is have all of the security measures in place to stop them (just like how the Nashville shooter was deterred from attacking another school, because it had “too much security” according to police). Taking away guns from law-abiding citizens isn’t going to stop school shootings. Putting armed guards at every school in America will. It’s common sense, and a great investment for the safety of our kids.

Food Pyramid Scams and America’s Obesity Epidemic | Calley Means

Image

According to a recent government-funded food pyramid study from Tufts School of Nutrition, Lucky Charms are healthier to eat than steak. So how did such an obviously ridiculous claim pass multiple levels of review at a widely respected research institution? Calley Means joins me to expose the decades-long influence that processed food and pharmaceutical companies have held over America’s research institutions, how it’s led to skyrocketing rates of obesity and other chronic health conditions, and simple reforms to programs like SNAP that could make America healthy again. Listen now on Apple, Spotify, and YouTube.

I had the privilege to speak to Hargrave High School Seniors about the uniqueness of America and what it means to fulfill the American Dream. Afterwards, I was able to visit The Tiny Homes Program at Humble ISD, where over 60 students build tiny homes for homeless veterans. As high school students, their hard work with the Tiny Homes program is exceptionally impressive. These students are working to make the world a better place for those who served our country and who sacrificed so much.

I was also honored to speak at the Houston Airport System’s Law Enforcement Partnership Celebration appreciation event, and attend The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence Gala where eight amazing Hometown Heroes were recognized, including former Congressman Kevin Brady, who received the 2023 Mitchell Award.

Washington Examiner: WATCH: Crenshaw says Biden foreign policy of 'peace through strength' forgets the strength part

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) said President Joe Biden’s approach to foreign policy is the “weakest form of America” he can imagine. While speaking with Fox News’s Trey Gowdy, Crenshaw suggested Biden’s foreign policy is “deeply confused” and “dangerously naive.”

Fox News Radio: Rep. Dan Crenshaw Pushes Back On The Left’s ‘Crazy Mentality’ About Good Guys With Guns

Congressman Dan Crenshaw,(R-TX) tells Brian Kilmeade democrats and republicans are united on Taiwan but President Biden needs to get on board instead of listening to our adversaries. Crenshaw also explained the reason we have been slow to get Taiwan the weapons they need and slow in our ability to build the military equipment we need is because the production lines for military equipment haven’t been used in many years and it is physically impossible to produce the weapons fast enough when the people who build military equipment shut down production.

Fox News: Republican clashes with CNN host over school safety after Nashville massacre: Guns 'protect you all at CNN'

Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, questioned why media companies and members of Congress get better protection than children do in schools while debating CNN's Dana Bash on Sunday. Bash pressed Crenshaw to come up with solutions to prevent school shootings in the wake of the massacre at Covenant Presbyterian school in Nashville, Tenn., last week. "Are you collectively, House Republicans, telling the American people that mass shootings, including of young children, is that just something that's going to happen, and you're not going to make any moves to try to stop it?" she asked Crenshaw.
