John: America is one of the most difficult places in the developed world to raise a child – and it's no wonder why.

On top of soaring costs for child care and health care, the United States is the only western country in the world that doesn't provide guaranteed paid family leave. Far too many parents are forced to go back to work almost immediately after welcoming a new child home. We shouldn't live in a country where families have to choose between affording rent and caring for their newborns.

It's time for a change – and Americans across the country agree. 

New polling shows that roughly two-thirds of voters SUPPORT guaranteed paid family leave, and Democrats are fighting hard to make it law. But we need to know where you stand, John. Please, before these links expire at midnight, respond to our live poll to tell us where Democrats in xxxxxx stand:
