Ohio Governor Mike DeWine Week in Review

On *Monday*, Governor Mike DeWine signed Senate Bill 7 [ [link removed] ], which eliminates certain employment barrier for military families stationed in Ohio. Governor DeWine was joined by Lt. Governor Jon Husted, Director Deborah Ashenhurst (Department of Veteran Services), and several legislative members at the Wright- Patterson Air Force Base Museum.

Also on*Monday, *First Lady Fran DeWine visited Tuscarawas, Holmes, and Wayne counties to launch the Ohio Governor's Imagination Library Program.

On *Tuesday*, Governor DeWine spoke at the Ashbrook Center's Major Issues Lecture Series at Ashland University.

Also on *Tuesday*, the Lt.Governor attended the ribbon cutting event [ [link removed] ] at MAGNETs Manufacturing Technology Experience in Cleveland. The new facility serves as a showroom for Northeast Ohios 8,000 small and medium sized manufacturing businesses to interact with, experience, and understand the business value of new and cutting-edge technologies.

On *Wednesday*, Lt. Governor Husted provided welcoming remarks [ [link removed] ] for the Sportsman Legislative Day at the Statehouse. An avid hunter and fisherman himself, Husted shared with attendees the ways the DeWine-Husted Administration has worked to support sportsmen through land conservation and other efforts since taking office.

On *Thursday,*Governor DeWine and Lt. Governor Husted gave remarks at the White Castle headquarters ribbon-cutting ceremony. The company's new headquarters are part of the 18-acre campus called "The Reach at Goodale".
