This week, the state of Wisconsin held an election for one of their state Supreme Court positions. Use

this lesson to help your students explore the different ways states select their state judges and how those processes are similar or different than selecting federal judges. Your students will also analyze how these different processes reflect the ways states might view the roles of their Supreme Courts.
