As you know, Equality Federation and our state partners work tirelessly to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights every day. Fighting anti-LGBTQ+ bills takes a toll on our communities, which is why we have a  Healing Justice Fund. This fund helps our state partners and their communities take care of themselves with activities that connect body/mind/soul/political context.

We believe in joy and rest. In an exceptionally challenging year, we want to take a moment to stop, take a breath, and enjoy a moment of peace and silliness with you.

We’ve distributed $25,000 to our state partners for Healing Justice this year. These grants have supported activities like a joyful Transgender Day of Visibility community event in Oklahoma, an organizer retreat in Louisiana, opportunities for teams to destress and bond after tough legislative sessions in Virginia and Texas, and more.
