John,
Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who has raised more than half of his campaign money from the rich1 and spent more time with billionaires in chandelier-lit wine caves than anyone reading this email, thinks that our movement is the problem in this election.
He’s fundraising off of the fact that Sunrise, and other leading grassroots organizations representing working people and people of color, have endorsed Bernie Sanders and are campaigning to get him elected.2 His campaign is making it sound like we're some kind shady ploy to deceive voters.
Our organizers and volunteers have been out day in and day out getting thousands of young people to commit to vote for Bernie in Iowa and New Hampshire, but we need to connect with thousands more if we want to make sure we defeat candidates backed by the wealthy and well-connected.
Can you chip in now to Sunrise so we can help win the first two states for Bernie? The Iowa Caucus is on Monday, so it's now or never.

We have momentum, but it’s clearer than ever that the establishment is going to fight fiercely to the finish. We will too.

PS. You can read more here about the “People for Bernie” coalition we launched yesterday. We’re proud to be working alongside the largest economic and racial justice organizations in the country to elect Bernie Sanders and make America work for all of us.
