Team,
Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, anti-choice judges and legislators, including those here in New Hampshire, have stopped at nothing to try and restrict and even ban abortion access.
Just last week a federal judge in Texas ruled in favor of anti-choice extremists by ordering the Food and Drug Administration to suspend the FDAs approval of the abortion pill Mifepristone nationwide. While that ruling is contested, reproductive rights are under attack.
Extremist judges and legislators continue to lay the groundwork for a total abortion ban, making it clear they'll never stop trying to further restrict access to reproductive choice.
We must empower women, not judges or politicians, to make decisions about their health care. Congress can and must act to protect reproductive freedom. That's why I'm once again co-sponsoring the Women's Health Protection Act.
The Women's Health Protection Act would codify Roe's right to abortion care and prevent medically unnecessary restrictions and bans on abortion. As an original co-sponsor of this legislation and as a member of the Pro-Choice Caucus, I won't stop fighting until the Women's Health Protection Act is signed into law.
Will you join me in supporting the Women's Health Protection Act and the codification of Roe v. Wade? Sign our petition today →
Thank you,
Chris
