We’re almost halfway through the month of April and my team has just told me that we're $4,056 behind our mid-month fundraising goal.
In staying true to upholding the progressive values that unite our grassroots movement, I have never accepted a dime in corporate money. Our movement's work is wholly fueled by the generosity of our grassroots supporters.
Our movement is invested in improving the lives of working class people across the country. We know what is possible when we're able to effectively organize and mobilize around the issues that impact our communities the most. Every donation is key in our efforts to build a new political consensus that is working toward the bold solutions we need to solve these issues.
At a time when Republicans are coming for our bodily autonomy, when they are shunning the democratic process by expelling progressive leaders, and then siding with the NRA while our children are murdered in schools, we cannot allow ourselves to submit to the status quo.
Our movement has come a long way, and we will not allow the hard-fought progress we've made to be reversed by the narrow Republican majority in the House.
