It's Not Just Luck

Here in Indiana, we're pretty lucky. We've got a great team of Republican leaders who have put Indiana on the right track -- from President Trump to Governor Holcomb to our local county leaders.

But those of us involved daily with elections know that it's not just luck. Indiana Republicans' winning track record at the ballot box is directly correlated to the results we're delivering Hoosiers...and the hard work each and every one of you puts into campaigns and our party across the state.

And that's where this weekend comes in. We have hundreds of Hoosier Republicans descending on downtown Indianapolis this weekend for Congress of Counties ([link removed][UNIQID]) , our two-day training and networking event. In breakout sessions, we'll go through the skills it takes to run a winning campaign -- how to raise money (and report it legally), how to share your message with voters, how to use campaign technology, and so much more.

I hope I'll see you there, but if you can't join us...join us on social media with the hashtag #CongressofCounties ([link removed][UNIQID]) .

Here's to more victories this November, and the hard work it takes to earn it.

Governor Holcomb's Week That Was

Governor Holcomb Remembers on Eva Education Day

This Monday, Hoosiers students across Indiana celebrated a Hoosier hero and Holocaust survivor, Eva Kor. Governor Holcomb declared Monday -- which coincided with the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz -- as Eva Education Day in Indiana. Eva Kor dedicated her life to Holocaust education and the power of forgiveness, including establishing the CANDLES Holocaust Museum in Terre Haute.

As part of Eva Education Day, every middle school and high school principal across the state received the Eva Educational Toolkit. The toolkit includes books, lesson plans and a copy of the documentary "Eva: A-7063" which focuses on Eva’s story and message of forgiveness.

To learn more about Eva Kor's remarkable story and message, watch the documentary about her life ([link removed][UNIQID]) , or visit the CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center ([link removed][UNIQID]) she helped found in Terre Haute.
