Dear Friend,
Imagine that you’re a nurse or a doctor working in an active crisis zone... In Haiti, you’re fighting to save children from life-threatening diseases like cholera. In Turkey, you’re caring for Syrian refugees retraumatized by February’s massive earthquakes. In Ukraine, you’re trying to source medications like insulin for people who desperately need them.
You feel relief and gratitude when a Project HOPE delivery arrives. The hygiene kits, surgical supplies and medications will help care for so many. But you didn’t expect to also receive a note from a stranger thousands of miles away. Their kind words remind you of why you work so hard and help power you through another long day and double shift.
I wanted to share some of the notes we already received from other Project HOPE supporters.
