John,
In case you missed Wes’ email on Tuesday, the Maryland legislative session is officially over, and we accomplished A LOT.
All ten out of ten bills that Wes introduced were passed by both chambers of the General Assembly — so far as Governor, he’s batting 1.000!
This week, Wes proudly signed bills into law to raise the state minimum wage to $15 one year sooner than scheduled, end childhood poverty by extending and expanding tax breaks for families, and allow more survivors of childhood sexual abuse to sue their abusers.
Wes and Aruna weren’t kidding around when they said they’d get to work on Day 1 and deliver on their promises. Together, we are making historic change and moving Maryland forward for all.
With the end of the legislative session also comes the end of our almost three-month fundraising freeze. While Wes continues to sign hundreds of bills into law, will you help us catch up on fundraising by pitching in $10 or more today?

Wes, Aruna, their administration, and their partners in the state legislature are making sure that this is Maryland’s decade. Thank you for making this possible by supporting our campaign.
