In the wake of a horrific wave of gun violence – over 147 mass shootings in 2023 alone – Florida Gov. and presidential wannabe Ron DeSantis has passed a measure that will make it EASIER for people to carry a concealed, loaded weapon.
Even worse, DeSantis, who LOVES to be the center of attention, signed the bill in a non-public event. That's because he knows what's he's doing is shameful.

This legislation is dangerous, and it will only make the gun violence epidemic in our country worse. With so much suffering, it's long past time that Republican lawmakers take a stand, but they would rather prioritize their donations from the gun lobby over defending American lives.
A majority of Americans DO support commonsense gun safety laws – but with this new legislation, we need to check where top Democrats like you stand on this issue:
