Dear John,

It hasn’t been easy—building a future free from gun violence.

As we fight to end the gun lobby’s stranglehold on our political system and make it through the highs and lows, and every day in between, I think about our leader. Despite her challenging recovery journey, Gabby Giffords persists in this fight for a safer future. She also inspires me to keep moving ahead.

As we think about security, I want to remind you of the importance of estate planning in keeping one another safe. Creating your will is an essential document for protecting your loved ones, exercising agency over important life decisions, and even identifying a guardian for your minor children and pets.

Make my will

Our new partnership with FreeWill: an estate planning resource allows you to make or update your will in just 20 minutes for free. Using FreeWill, you can even include a gift to Giffords in your plans and create a legacy that fights for strong gun safety laws in every state.  Without your generosity, we wouldn’t be able to achieve the lifesaving progress we’ve made.

FreeWill is available for you to use regardless of whether or not you choose to include us in your will. As we dream of what a future free from gun violence looks like, I hope this tool can bring you peace of mind.

Thank you,
Chris

P.S. Already included a gift to us in your will? Please fill out this form to let us know. We want to update our records and say thank you.
