Republicans across the country are fanning the flames of culture wars to distract from the fact that on health, wealth, and economic outcomes they are failing.

They have:
- lower life expectancy
- higher infant mortality
- higher maternal mortality']

There’s a lot of myth and a lot of BS out there coming from Republicans across the country and it is critically important that Democrats go on the offense — and I am not talking about Washington, D.C. alone.

That’s why I started the Campaign for Democracy. And why I kicked it off with visits to Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and Florida.

This is the United States of America, and there are a lot of states where families are hurting and rights are being rolled back by far-right Republican leaders.
