$32 million was spent in New York’s 19th District last cycle -- making it one of the most expensive elections of the decade. But no amount of special interest money could overcome the impassioned effort thousands of you put forth with your work and volunteerism.
Together, we flipped a rural district that voted for Donald Trump by nearly 7 points.
Since then, the GOP super PACs have spent millions more attacking Antonio Delgado and other Democrats in battleground districts on the air and online.
It’s critical that we have the resources to prepare against attacks from the national Republicans and the special interests that we know are coming. Hitting this end-of-month goal will show them that their millions of dollars in attack ads won’t be able to overpower this grassroots team.
