A recent YouGov survey shows that the overwhelming majority of Americans, regardless of their political affiliation, support the family-centered policies championed by Democrats.

In fact, the survey identified TEN family-centered policies which are supported by roughly two-thirds of all Americans, many of which were included in my legislation, the PRO-LIFE Act (Providing Real Opportunities and Lifelong Investments For Everyone) last year. While there is a majority of Americans who support policies like these, we need to build a majority in Washington D.C. to pass them.

Can I count on you to chip in to our campaign to help us build our movement and help advance critical legislation that will help everyday Americans?

What this means is that, despite what major media outlets and politicians say, Americans are much closer to each other on major issues than we may have expected. It also means that we are on the right track as we pursue family-friendly policy, protect the environment, reform immigration, and defend reproductive rights.

The incredible amount of public support shows that Americans, regardless of political alignment, support common sense legislation. It’s now time to show the same unity at the Capitol. I need your help to make sure we can make real progress in folks’ lives.
