You may have seen that yesterday, I announced my reelection campaign to continue serving Wisconsin in the U.S. Senate. Today, I want to take a moment to tell you a little more about the campaign we’re building — and why your early support is so critical.

Here’s the deal: This campaign is not going to be about me — it will always be about working for you.

It will be about standing up for your families, your health care, your jobs, and your retirement. And it will be about building on the progress we’ve made together — making sure you have the leadership you deserve in Washington.

That’s what my work has always been about. It’s why I proudly cast my vote to fight climate change, lower the cost of prescription drugs, and expand health care for our veterans. It’s why I’ve fought so hard to protect marriage equality for all Americans. It’s why I’ve defended Medicare and Social Security from those who want to tear those critical resources away from folks relying on them.
