I’m so excited to share with you that my book I Swear: Politics Is Messier Than My Minivan is officially available now.

I’m an avid reader, so when I started writing, I knew exactly what I didn’t want to write. This book is not a chronicle of my every move over the past 49 years. Instead, I share my experience serving as one of the very few single mothers in Congress, tell stories about my life before politics, and pull back the curtain on the political messaging machine, campaign fundraising, and Congress’ traditions. There are even some whiteboard lessons throughout.

I hope you’ll read it, learn a thing or two along the way, and get a good laugh in.
