Earlier this week, I shared a big announcement with you. I will not be running for Michigan’s open seat in the U.S. Senate because I know I can best service Michigan in the U.S. House.

I take my job in Congress very seriously, and I have a lot of pride in the work I do to represent Michigan’s 6th District. For me, this job is all about listening to the people. If you know me, you know I am always at community events, festivals, and parades. If it’s a Saturday, you’ll likely find me at the farmer’s markets because it’s where I can connect with my constituents.

I love my constituents, and every day, I plan and think of ways to bring people together to solve problems that people are facing. My top priority is ensuring Congress delivers real solutions to help Americans thrive, and I look forward to working together every step of the way.

We have a lot of work ahead of us, and I am keeping my focus on that work.
