Dear Friend,

First, a quick reminder about the Renewable Heat Now Power Hour taking place this evening (Thursday, April 13) at 7PM. Register to join the Zoom where we welcome two climate champions NYS Assemblymember Dr. Anna Kelles and Climate Action Council member and Cornell professor Dr. Bob Howarth.

They will help recap the hectic but successful NY climate movement mobilization to protect NY’s Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act and help us understand the status of our bills in the ongoing budget process.
Renewable Heat Now Power Hour. Thurs April 13 7 PM. Dr. Anna Kelles, N Y S Assembly 125th District. Dr. Bob Howarth, N Y S Climate Action Council.
This is a key meeting to grow our power! Please join us at 7PM.

Second, join us at an important Town Hall at The People’s Forum on Wednesday, April 19 at 7PM to stop Con Ed’s rate hikes for fossil fuel expansion.

The event takes place in NYC, and there is a Zoom option too.
No bill increase, no fossil fuels, Con Ed town hall wed april 19 7 pm at The People's Forum, 320 west 37th street. Zoom option.
Corporate utilities are fueling the climate crisis. Right now, New York State is about to decide if they will let one of the worst offenders, Con Ed, raise monthly bills for already overburdened ratepayers in NYC and Westchester to expand toxic fracked gas infrastructure that harms our health, safety, and climate. We say no!

Third, join us for Earth Day Advocacy Day in Albany on Tuesday, April 25 in Albany. 21 organizations (and counting) are cosponsoring EDAD. Dozens (possibly hundreds!) of people from all over NYS will come to Albany to rally and advocate for five tracks of bills: Environmental Health & Justice, Lead Poisoning Prevention, Water, Land/Waste,and Energy/Climate.

Three of the bills that we have been advocating for all session are in the Energy/Climate track, and AGREE is so excited to be part of this powerful day of advocacy! Register now to join us on the 25th!
