I was proud to endorse my friend Elizabeth Warren after I suspended my campaign for president.

That's because Elizabeth has the passion, she has the plans, and she has the ability to beat Donald Trump in November. She's fighting for the kind of country that we need -- one where no matter who you are, you have a shot at opportunity.

But here's the problem: There is an important FEC fundraising deadline at midnight tonight, and Elizabeth needs each one of us now more than ever before in order to reach her grassroots goal of $3.5 million before the end of night and fully fund the campaign's plans in the lead-up to Iowa and other states just around the corner.

So with the deadline quickly approaching, I'm asking:

Can you chip in now to power this campaign in the final days before the Iowa caucuses?

My grandmother came here as an orphan from Mexico when she was seven-years-old. She worked her entire life as a maid, a cook, and a babysitter to provide for her family -- and just two generations later, one of her grandsons is a Congressman, and I was a cabinet secretary and a candidate for president of the United States. That's the promise of America.

Elizabeth and I were blessed with the kind of opportunity we've had because we worked hard, our families worked hard, and because our country gave us a shot to succeed.

We've both lived our American Dream. And I believe that every kid in America who has their own dream will have a better chance of achieving it with Elizabeth Warren sitting in the Oval Office in 2021.
