Last week a conservative radio show host published an article about the climate protestors in The Gazette, a Colorado Springs newspaper.  In it, he calls me the climate activist "poster girl." 

To be clear, I am nobody's poster girl. Calling me that is not only inaccurate but it is also demeaning. I am nobody's girl. I am running to be Colorado's first woman Senator. I, along with millions of others, are tired of white men thinking they can speak for me. Sexist and polarizing rhetoric has no place in this country right now.  It never has.
