By now you likely know that Democrats are defending more than twice as many Senate seats as Republicans this cycle just to maintain our razor-thin 51-49 majority. We know that if Republicans flip the chamber, they WILL pass a national abortion ban and gain the ability to appoint conservative judges across the country who they know will uphold it.
That's why, over the next three days, we're raising $125,000 for our Senate Defenders fund -- a fund dedicated to supporting the Democratic pro-choice Senate women who can stop Republicans in their tracks.

I won't sugarcoat it, John: the race to protect our Senate majority will be tough. But we can't lose sight of one key insight from last November: Abortion wins elections. And every candidate we support is a fierce pro-choice champion.
This cycle senators including Jacky Rosen (NV), Tammy Baldwin (WI), and Mazie Hirono (HI) will be defending key seats that we cannot afford to lose. Joining the ranks of these unapologetically pro-choice candidates is Rep. Elissa Slotkin (MI-SEN), who's running to hold an open blue seat that will be critical to holding the majority.
Pro-choice women are the voices we need in the fight to defeat anti-choice extremism in the Senate. The 2023-2024 cycle is underway, and this community knows better than anyone that early support in key races can make a huge difference come Election Day.
