Democratic AGs are fighting for equality and justice for all
Friend,
Last month, Republicans in Kentucky introduced a bill to ban gender-affirming care for trans people under 18. This proposed legislation’s purpose is clear:denying fundamental rights to the transgender community.
Sadly, this is not an isolated incident. Republican AGs like Andrew Bailey in Missouri are abusing their power and conducting sham investigations to undermine the rights of the LGBTQ+ community — that’s why Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri filed a lawsuit against him for singling out and attacking the transgender community for political gain.
Dem AGs will not stand idly by as Republicans use their positions to score political points by attacking the transgender community. We stand with Planned Parenthood and other organizations in their efforts to stop this political interference.
Together, we can ensure that the rights of the LGBTQ+ community are protected.
