April ROCC Forum

Hello John, this is James from ROCC. I wanted to give you an important update on the work we are pursuing and the goals we are looking to achieve.

Tonight is our April ROCC forum, where we will be sharing with our partners' crucial information on the steps we want to see moving forward, as well as celebrating the work of organizers in their respective areas.

We're working on building interactive and comprehensive training tools that highlight recent successes, and break down the steps to seeing a campaign through to the ballot box. We're also bridging gaps in local communities across states to bring organizers together and lift up the best work being done, and share successful strategies.

Some successes we will discuss and strategize around:
- a referredum on a national healh insurance plan in rural Wisconsin
- a climate charter in Texas
- criminal justice reform across several Texas areas

We are looking forward to continue to build upon the successes of these groups, and share their work in the coming months. These organizations make incredible impacts with their work, and we are so excited for the possibilities we can achieve together.
