NASA recently announced that four astronauts will travel around the moon in the Artemis II mission!

The Artemis II ship was built right here in Alabama, home to the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville. The announcement of the crew is also a giant step forward for inclusivity: the first person of color and first woman to join a lunar mission.

For as long as I’ve been in Congress, I’ve always been a strong supporter of science.

I’ve worked to increase NASA’s annual budget to support the Artemis program, fought to combat climate change and slow its detrimental effects on our planet, and helped bring science to the forefront of our public health policies.

As we celebrate the International Day for Human Space Flight, I’m asking you to chip in $15 to help me fight for a science-focused agenda in Congress. Can I count on you to make a contribution right now?
