Exciting news, John: Last week, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer officially repealed Michigan’s 1931 abortion ban. This is a major step in protecting abortion access for Michiganders – and it would not have been possible without Democratic majorities in the state House and Senate.

Michigan’s pro-choice victory is a reminder of the critical need for strong Democratic majorities at every level of government – especially in light of last week, when a single Texas judge issued a ruling to nationally ban a drug safely used in medical abortions for over 20 years. We know that the path to retaking the United States House majority runs right through our district – so we’re asking you to rush $5 or more right away to keep Hillary in office.

Earlier this year, Hillary cast West Michigan’s first-ever pro-choice vote in Congress. If we’re going to protect reproductive healthcare rights for all Americans the way we are for Michiganders, we must keep her in office.
