Last year, I watched Trump's hand-picked candidate Kari Lake nearly become Arizona’s Governor by running a campaign centered around threats to our democracy, attacks on the trans community, and more hate. After the election was over and she lost, she spouted unsubstantiated election fraud rhetoric that sows division and runs counter to the very principle of democracy.
