Student debt cancellation is a racial justice issue. An economic justice issue. A gender justice issue.
No one should be profiting off of the student debt crisis, which is why it is so outrageous that student loan lender SoFi is suing the Biden Administration to overturn the latest pause on federal repayments.
It’s outrageous. The cruelty and greed is the point.
For years, Ayanna and our movement have pushed for student debt cancellation. Now, Ayanna and Senator Elizabeth Warren have sent a letter to SoFi demanding that they answer for their shameful lawsuit.
Ayanna and our movement will continue to fight for economic justice for student loan borrowers.
