John, just last month President Biden approved the Willow project – a ConocoPhillips oil drilling project in Alaska.
This action goes directly against Biden’s campaign promise to take the climate crisis seriously and transition to a clean energy economy – but we aren’t giving up. In fact, we’re more determined than ever to hold Biden accountable and end the era of fossil fuels once and for all.
Our movement draws its power from our grassroots supporters, and we need as many people as possible by our side. The first step to getting involved is to join us on Wednesday, April 19 for the End the Era of Fossil Fuels Mobilization Call.
The 350 Network Council, Center for Popular Democracy, Climate Organizing Hub, Honor the Earth, and People vs Fossil Fuel partners are hosting a special mobilizing call to end the era of fossil fuels. The first step to getting involved is to join us on Wednesday, April 19 and find out how you can take action this spring.
Starting at 8pm ET / 5pm PT, you’ll hear directly from frontline leaders in the fight against fossil fuels. They’ll share ways that you can turn your frustration into action by building your skills and joining actions to end the use of fossil fuels.
Our frontline leaders will also share more about our movement’s commitment to climate justice and our solidarity with Indigenous leaders who have driven this work for generations. Here’s a sneak peek at who you’ll get to hear from:
