Register Now! 5 Year Bar: What It Is and Why It Must be Removed
Join us on Thursday April 27th for a webinar on the Five Year Bar (5YB). We will provide background on the 5YB, the problems it’s caused for immigrant families, and why it’s important that Congress take action to remove it. PIF staff and representatives from PIF member organizations will also speak about our upcoming congressional Week of Action (May 1-5) and describe how participants could become involved in our advocacy push to remove the five year bar. We will share details about the Lift the Bar Act, a piece of legislation soon to be (re)introduced that would remove the five year bar and provide solutions to the problems it causes.
When: Thursday April 27th at 1pm ET
