I know you’ve gotten a lot of messages from my team and I this week, but today is the day: it’s your last chance to contribute before our first monthly fundraising deadline of the year.

We’re now less than two months away from the Mississippi Democratic primary election, and about nine months from the general election in November.

That’s all the time we have to raise what we need to get the word out about our campaign for a brighter Mississippi. Running a campaign takes a lot of resources, and I want to be sure I can travel across the state, run the best grassroots organizing program Mississippi has ever seen, meet with as many Mississippians as possible, get our message across through TV and online ads, and get folks fired up to head to the polls.

I know together, with a lot of heart and hard work, we can beat the odds, win this thing, and move the Magnolia State forward.
