Hi,
This webinar is part of Earth Week Live, a
series of webinars discussing fascinating topics ranging from fashion
to regenerative agriculture. To receive daily reminders for Earth
Week’s digital events, RSVP here.
In order to impact climate change, there has to be a shift in
society’s culture. Fashion is such a central part of expressing
culture, identity, and values, but the way it is produced can be
either sustainable, or dangerously detrimental to the environment.
Fashion’s Age of Invention is a two-part series of
webinars. Part I examined new innovations in fibers that are made of
totally sustainable materials. Part II will look at remarkable
development in technologies that will bring about: transparency, a way
of recycling not heretofore possible, and a method of controlling
overproduction and waste in the industry. These fascinating inventions
are leading the way to a new era in fashion and a path toward
restoring something lost along the way – balance with nature.
EARTHDAY.ORG invites you to join us for Earth Week Live with the
second webinar in the Fashion’s Age of Invention series,
Toward a Balance With Nature, on April 14, 2023 at 12 PM
EST.
Join us for the live event.
The event will be approximately 1
hour and hosted on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitch, and on our webpage. By RSVP'ing, you'll receive a reminder on the day with a link
to view the event.
Our panel will be moderated by Kerry Bannigan —
Executive Director, Fashion Impact Fund and Co-Founder, United Nations
Conscious Fashion and Lifestyle Network.

happening at the intersection of sustainability and
fashion, and how new innovations can change the industry
from its current linear system of take-make-waste to a circular system
and a balance with nature.
See you there,
