April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, but at Love146, we work every day to ensure that vulnerable children are supported and not exploited. For 20 years, we have been fighting for the rights and dignity of children who have been trafficked. We’ve learned so much from children over these years, and with that knowledge, we’re challenging society to do a better job addressing the problems that make these kids vulnerable. 

That's why I'm sharing an inspiring video from the archives of Love146. In this video, my colleague Erin Williamson speaks with passion and conviction about the urgent need to protect children with histories of sexual abuse victimization and those involved in child welfare. These children are especially vulnerable, and they need our help to receive the prevention education and support they deserve.

Society's inadequate response and systemic failures allow for the ongoing exploitation of children. We work alongside survivors and advocates to address these issues and uphold the rights and dignity of all children. But we can't do it alone. Everyone has a role to play in ending child trafficking. I’m so grateful to you for journeying with us and with children in this important work.
