Yesterday, we officially launched our campaign for Congress.

I’m so grateful for all of the support and words of encouragement we’ve already received–but the work has only just begun.

Politics-as-usual isn’t working. We need change–new leadership and new voices in Congress. We need a politics that prioritizes everyday people over corporate profits.

But House Republicans like Marc Molinaro already ripped away a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions, and now they’re threatening to rip away seniors’ right to retire with dignity. Upstate New York deserves better, and I’m ready to deliver.

This campaign won’t be easy. Last year, Republican Super PACs spent over $6 million in negative attack ads against me, and you can bet they’re going to do the same this time around.

John, I don’t take a dime from corporate PACs, so I’m relying on committed supporters like you to help power this campaign and fight back against the attacks sure to come our way.
