A Bare-Minimum Survival Kit
<[link removed]>

Here are five discreet survival items you can carry every day and take
almost anywhere without raising any eyebrows or screaming PREPPER! I
consider this my bare-minimum survival kit and have carried some
variation of it in countries around the world.

Obviously, your kit should be dependent on you: where you live, what you
might encounter, and what your restrictions are. Having the bare minimum
to get you through a rough day or a crisis is incredibly important.
Learning to be flexible and find multiple uses for the tools available
is even more important.

What do you keep as a bare-minimum survival kit? If you could only have
five items, what would they be? Let's talk about it in the comments
section.

Survival Packs: Core Items & Considerations
<[link removed]>

What kind of things do you carry in your pack when traveling? When
commuting? Or just out for the day? Do you have a core list of items or
types of items you always have in your pack? This would be in
conjunction with your everyday carry (EDC) items. Some might be in
addition to your EDC, some might be redundancy, and some might be
specific to your travel purpose.

The gear I carry in my packs, whether for travel or daily commutes, can
be divided into four categories; Medical, Security, Survival, and
Communications. Here is how that breaks down.
